“Nine Out Of Ten Americans Live In Places At Significant Risk Of Earthquakes, Hurricanes, Tornadoes, Terrorist Attacks, Or Other Natural Or Man-made Disasters?”

What is More Alarming Is That, In The Past Several Years The U.S. Has Experienced A Record Number Of Disasters & Emergencies And The Trend Continues To Increase…

But Yet Too Many Americans Are Still Critically Unprepared To Survive These Disasters… Even After Events Like 9-11, Katrina & Sandy, Most People Still Have a False Sense of Security About Their Survival

”Unfortunately most people just don’t have a plan. All they know about disasters is what they see eating popcorn. People think well that’s okay because Washington’s gonna take care of me or the state capital or my mayor but if that’s what they think is going to happen they’re wrong, they’re dead wrong” James Jay Carafano, PhD author of “Surviving The End”

Is Your Family Unprepared For These Calamities…? Can You Get Them Out Of Harm’s Way When The Moment Comes? Your Are About To Discover One Of The Most Overlooked, Yet Most Important Elements When It Comes To Surviving A Disaster

Hi My Name is Dennis Diaz I’m The Chief Editor At Survival Ready Blog, Creator Of The 12 Month Prepper Course And Co-Creator OF The Bugout Network… …And I Have Also Been A Victim Of A Disaster

In Fact In This Letter I’ll Tell You What Happened To Me and My Wife… And I’ll Also Share With You How This Highly Overlooked Element Of Surviving A Disaster Hit Me Right Between The Eyes Its So Simple, Yet So Critical, It Surprises Me How Few Discussions There Are About It And How Frequently It’s Overlooked. I’ll Also Share With You The Biggest Misconceptions About Survival & Prepping For A Disaster

Let Me Ask You… What Does A Terrorist Attack, An Earthquake, A Flood and A Tornado Have in Common, That Makes Them Some Of The Deadliest Type Of Disasters in Existence? Other Than The Obvious Potential To Be Of Significant Magnitude and Extremely Dangerous…

The Main Thing That Makes Them The Some Of Them Deadliest Type Of Disasters in Existence is They Can Strike In An Instant, At Any Time Of Day Or Night. With ABSOLUTELY NO WARNING. And You Never Know Where You’ll Be When It Happens Unlike a Hurricane or a Blizzard, Where You Can See It Coming From 100 Miles Away, These “Instant” Calamities Are More Common And Deadlier Than Any Other Type Of Disaster. And There Is No Way To Know When The Next One Will Come, Or If It’ll Affect You Or Your Family

If The Focus Of Your Prepping Efforts Consists Of Storing Food & Water In The Basement Or Growing Vegetables In Your Backyard… Then You And Your Family Are At Risk I Know This First Hand

It Was A Peaceful Summer Evening Several Years Ago. I Lived With My Wife and Our Black Lab, Several Miles Outside Of Denver, CO, Near the Front Range. There Was Nothing Special About This Night Then, About At 2:30 AM I Was Woken Up By A Loud Banging On The Door And Someone Screaming. I Got Up, Raced Down The Stairs and Looked Out The Window and Saw An Inter Canyon Firefighter Banging On The Door & Screaming “GET OUT!!!, You Need To Evacuate Now!!!” I Opened The Door, Turned Around And Tried To Grab What I Could, But Didn’t Really Have A Plan.My Wife Grabbed Our Dog and Ran Out The Door…

The Firefighter Grabbed Me and Said “Sir, There Is No Time For That, You Need To Get Out” We Ran Out The Door and That’s When I Realized That There Was A Wild Fire Heading Our Way And We Probably Had Less Than A Couple Of Minutes To Get Out Of The Area. There We Were, With No Supplies, Nowhere To Go, Trying To Outrun Mother Nature… While Our Stored Food & Water and Even Our Bug Out Bags Were Still Sitting In The Basement And Probably About To Be Destroyed Along With Everything Else We Owned.

See I Grew Up In A Small Town On The North Coast Of Puerto Rico And My Parents Were Always Ready, Especially During Storm and Flooding Season. We Actually Had To Evacuate 4 Different Times, To A Bug Out Location And Back Then It Seemed Like Second Nature… I Took It All For Granted…. And Now There We Were Sitting In The Fire Truck About To Potentially Lose Everything and Being Completely Exposed… Made Me Feel Like A Failure And The Truth Is I That Deep Down I Knew It Was My Fault. I Was Taking My Preparedness For Granted…I Was Complacent. I Was “Too Busy”, “Too Tired” And A Bit Overconfident That My Experience Growing Up Would Take Care Of It If The Time Came But Boy Was I Wrong… Luckily Our House Only Suffered Minor Damage Compared To Some Of Our Neighbors.

From That Day On I Decided To Go Back To That Preparedness Mindset And Do Everything In My Power To Never Feel That Way Ever Again. Over The Next Few Years I Became Obsessed. I Would Literally Read Every Survival And Prepping Course, Website, Book Or Ebook I Could Get My Hands On.

I Also Realized Many Of Them, Even Some Good Ones Would Have Not Helped Me Either Way. Because They Don’t Address The One Thing, That If Not Done Properly Can Throw Every Other Survival & Prepping Effort Out The Window

Not Your Gear, Not Your Supplies, You And What You Have With You and On You, AND YOU Need To Survive Today With What You Have, Before You Can Survive Tomorrow Your Decision Triggers & Your Plan, Ready At All Times, No Matter Where You Are

What Good Will A Bug Out Bag Do You If It’s Sitting At Home And You’re Stuck In A Public Place, On The Highway Or… Read more…
