Marketing has been a big passion of mine since I was a young teen. I remember always collecting the junk mail waiting with baited breath to see what interesting campaign was out. I enjoyed seeing all the product layouts, text use, images and general design which would inspire me to create an archived catalogue of marketing profiles… It’s little things like this that have driven my passion for driving business through marketing.

A few years ago It was only because I was made redundant that one of my colleagues recommended I should check out the social media thing. Thanks Mark for that! So I did and it was like the world was built for me. I had all these awesome tools which I could leverage and tweak to build my online following and therefore my business.

The marketing from television, magazine, junk mail and everyday life was my starting point. I had learned so much over the years from being marketed too…I thought it was time to put some of that experience to work.

I set a goal last year to write an ebook on social media. I procrastinated and got busy with other things so the ebook really sat on the back burner, however now I’ve found a better way of producing the content it seemed a lot easier to share my knowledge with you.

My hours have been crazy to say the least. I would get home from my full time job and then have an hours break before leveraging my personal and business channels on social media until sometimes 2am to 4am the next morning. What I learned I’ll try to explain in this guide, however as social media changes daily you will need too change as well. Don’t think that this guide will be the answer to all of your problems ‘” it won’t.

Think of this guide as me holding your hand through a rapid of networks, comments, likes, dislikes, writing, videos and content creation based on my own experience. So these are my findings based on the questions I had when I started this journey, its my hope my insight will help you and your photography business reach a new level of social engagement and success.
