Article Henri Matisse (1869 to 1954) is a well-known French painter and the founder and main representative of Fauvism as well as a sculptor. He is famous by the use of bright and bold colors. At the age of 21, an accident that happened to him raised his great passion for painting and became the turning point of his whole life. Attending the opening events for the Tim Burton show that was at LACMA. My good friend, Rajendra Roy, was one of the curators of that show, and he very kindly asked me to be his “date” for the event. He convinced me to wear one of my designs, and it got a lot of attention. Linda received her B.F.A. in Painting at the Kansas City Art Institute. During her studies she interned and worked with the fashion artist Peggy Noland; working on costumes for the band SSION and Lovefoxxx of CSS. She received her M.F.A. in Creative Writing at Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angeles, where she now resides. Originally reconstructing clothes as a means to more clearly identify herself as an artist, her fashion can now be seen on women all over the country, on performance artists and at Runway Boutique L.A.
