
In Survival mode there are day and night cycles, and at night is when all the creepy crawlies come out (they are also deep underground in the mines). It gets really creepy at night if you don’t make a place to stay, and then after that you can start making your armor and weapons.
Deadly pixelated monsters come out at night so it’s up to you to make the most out of your time during the day. Build a shelter, gather food, chop down trees, and build weapons and tools. You can craft items from nearly all of the world’s resources once you figure out the recipes. Boats, swords, armor, and even minetracks are yours to build.

As a grand finale – TitanFall was shown. I have to say, it looks pretty impressive – I like the character movement and everything that comes along with fluid gameplay. The graphics were…. not up to Battlefield 4 standards, but still looked good for the speed the game is moving at.

I was thinking of other games that had procedural content, such as Spelunky. And then my mind suddenly thought of a way that I could combine weapon generation and customization with generated environments in an alien-hunting sort of way, so I went and wrote everything down. The final game has changed a lot over the course of development, some areas for better, some for worse.
