Myth #1
Light weights and high reps will get me ripped. This couldn’t be any further from the truth, its no wonder every time you try dieting you end up looking skinny and frail.
Lift light weights and you will end up looking like a marathon runner, even though you want to look like a sprinter.
This marketing tactic was used to appeal to the masses, to lure women in that don’t want to lift heavy.
Myth #2
I must cut out all carbs if I want to get ripped. Cutting out all carbs is like trying to drive with no gasoline in your car.
Carbs fuel your body; carbs will keep you looking hard and ripped. Cutting all carbs out will result in your body entering a catabolic state where your body burns muscle and stores fat.
The right amount of carbs is required to get ripped.
Myth #3
I must look for “low fat” and “no fat” foods. In the 1950’s a famous scientist related heart disease with a high fat diet.
In recent years it was found that the scientist tweaked his data and lied. This is why so many foods and marketing campaigns tell you to eat foods that are “low fat”.
Foods that claim to be low fat are substituted with high sugar, which will result in even more fat gain.
Since the 1950’s when the LOW FAT diets began, the American obesity rate skyrocketed through the roof!
