The ‘Body of Work’ that he is referring to is my research into the application of the Law of Attraction and how it applies to the way that different people think.
You see, I know that the Law of Attraction isn’t just hype. But I also know that there was a fundamental piece missing from the hit movie The Secret.
The ONLY reason that some people have managed to enjoy success with The Secret is because they included this missing piece. They had no idea they were doing anything different from me or you, they just happen to be the lucky ones that ‘accidentally’ added the most important ingredient!
What about all of the people that faithfully followed The Secret but didn’t ‘accidentally’ stumble into this missing piece?
The simple truth is, we don’t all think alike. We don’t all do the same things. (The world would be a very dull place if we did!)
I’ve been studying human psychology for over 20 years. In all of that time I’ve learned that people are NOT the same. I’ve been a change therapist for most of my adult life and I’ve seen thousands of clients.
Over the years I’ve become aware of a pattern. There are fundamental ways that some people think that cause them to change much more quickly. Likewise, there are fundamental ways that other people think that prevent change… no matter how hard they try.
Once I’d recognized this pattern I developed a set of simple strategies that anybody could easily master. I began teaching these strategies to my clients and the results were spectacular!
With a few simple instructions I found that anybody could be transformed into the kind of person that finds change effortless and easy. I’d discovered the missing piece of The Secret!
When I first made this discover I only applied it to my clients. I used it to help people eliminate bad habits, and develop good ones. Then, one day, I decided it was time to start thinking outside of the box. I already had a deep understanding of the Law of Attraction and wondered if I could apply my strategies to help someone manifest something truly spectacular.
As an experiment I found a volunteer that had watched The Secret, faithfully applied the techniques but was really struggling to get the kind of results she desired.
I was expecting her to say something intangible, like increased happiness or more confidence. But she didn’t. As it turns out, she wanted a whole bunch of material stuff! She reeled off a huge list including a Nintendo Wii, an iPod Touch and even a brand new car!
That’s really not the kind of thing I had in mind, but I thought it was worth a shot. I chose to focus on the car as it would be the most impressive thing for her to manifest. I guided her though the simple process that I’d been using with my clients.
She was incredibly specific. She chose to manifest a Metallic Black Alfa Romeo MiTo. She even selected the model (The top spec 1.4 Lusso model) and picked out which wheels she wanted.
Over the following couple of weeks the universe rearranged itself to make her desire a reality. After about 2 weeks she stumbled into a competition to win a MiTo online. It wasn’t the same one she’d been focusing on but it was certainly a sign that the universe was listening.
While she was at the showroom the clerk gave her a raffle ticket for another competition that she hadn’t previously known about. She filled out her details, handed in her ticket and went on her test drive.
When she got home, she focused all of her attention on the original competition, which was an online racing game with several stages. The overall winner would get the car and there were several other prizes up for grabs for the leaders of each stage.
By the last day of the race it was looking as though she was going to win. She was leading the pack in almost every stage and nothing short of divine intervention would help anyone close the gap.
On the very last day of the competition, her Internet went down. Sky (her ISP) couldn’t identify a problem and insisted it was working. Her computer agreed. As far as it was concerned she was online and everything was working fine, but it wasn’t. She could get any websites to load and had no way of competing for the final stage.
In desperation she did a fresh install of windows. But it didn’t help. She figured that it must be her internet connection, not her computer so she drove to her dads home and tried using his computer to complete the race. She couldn’t get online there either!
