Belger arts Center will feature a group show, “Adornment.” The show will be held on the First Friday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. It will be on display Wednesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The gallery is located at 2100 Walnut and the show runs through June 8.
St. Louis Community College at Florissant Valley is running a summer camp June 13th through 17th that focuses on magic, comedy and presentation skills. Your child will be thrilled to be the one in front of the audience this time around as he or she learns to make objects and people disappear, pull new props out of thin air and more. In addition, kids will learn the art of balloon twisting and be given some pointers on comedy skits to round out their magic show as well.
On a somber note, Helltrash recently lost one of its band members, Avis, on March 17. This is the band’s first show since their loss, and they are no doubt looking forward to tonight and being surrounded by their friends and fans.
